      <description>Malanje, &lt;p&gt;Malanje - Lack of funds and administrative issues hinder the assistance to former combatants and war veterans residing in Malanje, at Luanda's Neves Bendinha orthopaedic hospital, ANGOP was informed.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This was said on Thursday, in Malanje Province, by the director of the Angolan Association of Former Military Disabled People (Ammiga), Ant&amp;oacute;nio Nicolau, during a press conference, under the festivities of the 18th anniversary of the institution, September 02.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ammiga has celebrated a contract with Luanda&amp;rsquo;s Neves Bendinha hospital for the physical rehabilitation of 15 disabled people annually, but it is not possible, due to lack of funds for transportation and accommodation.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;They are identified in Malanje 180 disabled people waiting for physical rehabilitation.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ammiga controls over 5,000 members.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>Luanda , &lt;p align="justify"&gt;&amp;nbsp;Luanda - The Ministry of Environment will start charging licenses to tourism agents and firms that provide services at Kissama game reserve, on Thursday here announced the incumbent minister, F&amp;aacute;tima Jardim.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;The minister said that she noticed on the spot that various firms have been making commercial exploration in the region, with highlight on ourism, but without the authorisation of this organ.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;To overcome the situation, the minister defended the maintenance of the natural reserves and improve the mechanisms of management, a task for which he called the collaboration of the intervening sectors, in order to avoid acts that do not meet the existing law of environmental resources.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;quot;We have been making restructuring studies on the game reserves, not only at Kissama, but all over the country, so that they become areas of excellence, with better profit taken from bio-diversity and other existing wealth&amp;quot;, minister F&amp;aacute;tima Jardim said.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Kissama game reserve located in Bengo Province received in 2001 animals from Botswana and South Africa, and currently has 65 elephants, 70 zebras, 70 gnus, 14 giraffes among other kinds.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It has an area of 9,600 square kilometres.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>Angola, &lt;p align="justify"&gt;Luanda - The Episcopal Conference of Angola and S&amp;atilde;o Tome (CEAST) today announced the death of the Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Saurimo, Dom Pedro Marcos Ribeiro da Costa, 88, of hypertension.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;Dom Ribeiro da Costa was born on October 10, 1921, in Cajicole, Malanje province and was ordained priest on January 23, 1949, having worked in various parishes, namely in the seminar of the Diocese of Malanje.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;He was sorn in as general vicar of the Diocese of Malanje in 1975, elected Bishop of Saurimo on February 03, 1977, and received episcopal consecration on March 20, the same year.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;On February 15, 1997, Dom Ribeiro da Costa resigned the Bishopric and was replaced by Dom Eugenio Dal Corso.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
