Luanda – The provincial director of Hotel and Tourism in Luanda, Joaquim Neto, Wednesday in Luanda, said that fine estimated at about USD 3,000 will be passed to restaurants and other similar establishments which hold shows without permission from the concerned authorities.
Speaking at a meeting involving provincial and municipal representatives of departments of hotels and tourism, culture, and national police command in the country’s capital, the official said that the fine will be imposed to restaurants, pubs and snack bars which organise noisy parties, for lacking of sound proof conditions.
Joaquim Neto reminded that the fines are outlined in the law 76/75 of Hotels sector, however due to ignorance by some managers, there are transgressions to this law, due to increasing of restaurants which organise parties as well as frequent complaints posed regarding to sound pollution in the establishments.
During the meeting the participants also recommended, the interdiction to noisy parties in houses, next to health units, schools, as well as the holding of cults at inadequate places with potent sound sets aiming at preserving citizens wellbeing.
