Minister Pedro Mutinde checks hotels under construction in Luanda

Luanda -The Angolan Hotels and Tourism minister, Pedro Mutinde, will carry out on Thursday an assessment visit to four hotels under construction in Luanda, in order to check the level of execution of the works.

The hotels are Diamante, Skila Vip, Baía and Gika.

According to a press note received by ANGOP on Wednesday, the visit is part of the periodical assessment to the hotels that will be used to accommodate the guests to the African Nations Football Cup (CAN’2010) and other tourists who come to Angola interested in learning about the country’s tourism potentials and its strong economic growth.

The note also states that until 2011, the Angolan government has projected the construction of 28 hotels countrywide, prioritising hotels of two and four stars.
