Species reproduction in Kissama Park promotes tourism

Luanda - The reproduction of several animal species in the National Park of Kissama (Luanda), under “Arca deNoé” project, is enabling the promotion of tourist visits by Angolan and foreign citizens in that natural reserve of the country.

This was said to Angop on Wednesday by its administrator, Miguel Savituma, during the opening ceremony of the training of former soldiers for the supervision of the referred park.

According to him, the number of controlled animals in Kawa sanctuary has increased considerably.

He said that the 30 elephants introduced in the park rose to 45 ones, zebras from 8 to 80, as well as hundreds of ostriches and dozens of giraffes can be found in the natural reserve, among others.

The animals from South Africa were introduced in Kissama Park for over five years.
