Angola
Angola may record up to four million tourists by 2020

Luanda - Angola is expected register until 2020 a movement of four million tourists, said Tuesday in Luanda the minister of Hotel and Tourism, Pedro Mutindi.

The Cabinet minister made the estimate while speaking at the swearing in ceremony of Directors General and deputies of the Tourist Development, by 2020, having stressed that the sector is expected to create one million direct and indirect jobs.

During this period, added Pedro Mutindi, the sector will increment a mobilization plan in the favour of domestic tourism enabling 60% of Angolans to travel more for "Angola's inside."

"The future we desire always depends on foundations we lay at present and on how we look to the past," emphasized the minister, to whom the tourism is the industry of peace and sustainable development of any nation.

However, the official said this will ensure greater mobilization around the actions of the Steering Plan of Tourism related to the reformulation and adaptation of legislative package of the sector.

He said that this will enable the creation of a greater availability in the supply of infrastructure services and therefore competitive prices, capable to attract and allow free membership of the tourists and visitors.
