Luanda - The National Association of Tourist Guides of Angola (Aguita) this year will focus on training for youth in the area of tourist guides and interpreters.
Speaking on Wednesday, ANGOP, the chairperson of Aguita, Paciência Samuel, said there will be running courses of protocol services, guided tours to tourist interest sites for the dissemination of culture, habits and customs of the Angolan people and monitoring visits in the city day and night.
According to him, this action aims at the occupation of free time of youth and the promotion of activities related to the tourism in the country.
It is also part of the priorities of the association, the promotion of tourist activities in the tourist centres located in the various provincial capitals, especially those of Luanda and Bengo.
The association intends to propose tourism of hotels and collaborate with agencies interested in guided tours.
Created about four years, the association has over 200 members.
