Benguela - The vice minister of Hotel and Tourism, Paulino Baptista, inaugurated last weekend an environmental park called Lodge Kapembawé in Kalohanga commune, Baía Farta disttrict, southern Benguela province.
Holding an area of 10,000 hectares, the environmental park comprises two conference halls with a capacity to accommodate 100 people, restaurant, terrace, swimming pool, 20 bungalows and safari for various species.
Addressing the ceremony, the vice minister said that the inauguration is the result of government efforts and its private partners focussed on boosting the sustainable tourism in the country.
According to him, this will contribute to reduction of the high prices that many operators still practice.
