Luanda
Association trains 800 tour guides

Luanda – The Angolan Association of Tour Guides and Interpreters has been promoting since last August a training programme for 800 youths from the country’s eighteen provinces, with the aim of preparing them for the mentioned job.

Speaking to ANGOP on Friday, in Luanda’s Ingombota District, the co-ordinator of the
association, Paciência Samuel, informed that the course is being attended by tour guides sent
by private firms, as well as in an individual manner.

According to the official, the lessons are being taught in Portuguese and several vernacular
languages, so that the beneficiaries of the course be able to do their work in any region of the
country.

The Angolan Association of Tour Guides and Interpreters counts on the sponsorship of the
Elisal cleaning company for the materialisation of its projects.
