Governor vows to promote tourism activity in Calandula

Malanje – The governor of the northern Malanje Province, Boaventura Cardoso, defended recently the need for developing tourism activities in Calandula District, having into account its natural beauty and potential.

 

Speaking in Calandula during the official presentation of the new local administrator, the provincial governor stated that besides the mentioned zone, it is also necessary to develop gradually tourism in Cacuso District, by making use of tourists sites such as Water Falls and the Pungo Andongo’s black rocks, as well as others resources that exist in the two localities.

 

He said that there is already a fund, whose amount was not disclosed, that will serve to develop tourism in Calandula, which will start with the elaboration of a tourism plan and will count on the participation of the private sector.
