Governor defends development of tourist sector

 Sumbe - The governor of central Kwanza Sul province, Serafim Maria do Prado, said Wednesday in Sumbe that tourism might become in future one of greater sources of State revenues, in view of the investments made so far in the sector.


Serafim do Prado said so while speaking to the press after the inauguration of a hotel in the province, named “Hotel Kwendale”, under a private investment, whose costs were not disclosed.


According to the governor, there is a great private investment in the hotel and tourism sector in the province.


He announced the inauguration, in June this year of another three hotels in the province’s capital city, Sumbe, whose construction works are in their final stage.
