Huambo - The provincial director of the Trade and Tourism Department based in Huambo, Delina Cuaiela Samessele, said Monday in the capital of the central province that the sector has recorded a notable growth, despite shortage of qualified personnel.

Speaking to Angop, the official said that shortage of professionals is reflected on the quality of services offered in some hotels and restaurants, which on her view are below standards.

In the face of this, she added, the Government of Huambo, through the Trade and Tourism Department, has been making an effort to reopen the local hotel school that has been out of service for the last 18 years.
