Ministry of Hotels to build tourist sites as from 2011

Luanda - The Ministry of Hotels and Tourism announced that tourist sites will be built in some region of the country as from 2011, aimed at exploring and boosting the existing resources of Angola.


This was said to Angop by the Minister of Hotels and Tourism, Pedro Mutindi.


According to him, these sites will be implemented in accordance with the specificity and reality of each region, whose project includes the construction of hotels, restaurants and lodges.


In the first phase, the tourist sites will be built in the localities of Calandula (Malanje province), Cabo Ledo (Bengo) and Okavango (Kuando Kubango province).


The 2011 activity programme also comprises the implementation of various bilateral co-operation accords signed in tourism field and participation in the main fairs held in Cuba, Portugal, Spain, Germany, among other countries.
