Luanda - The construction of new hotels, the improvement of roads, transports and the holding of upgrading courses have been pointed out Monday, in Luanda, as gains obtained through the holding of the Orange Africa Cup of Nations (Angola2010) in football.
The remark was made by the chairman of the Angolan Association of Hotels, Restaurants and Similar Places (Ahoresia), João Gonçalves.
Speaking to ANGOP, João Gonçalves said that with the holding of the African Cup, the country opened itself to the world and, therefore, showed that it is able to promote development, being now necessary the joining of efforts so that the nation be able to follow the work that was started.
Concerning the hotels and the construction of other infrastructures, Ahoresia’s chairman appealed for the need to acknowledge the participation of the sector’s associations, in order that they could not be neglected or ignored, considering their contribution to the country’s development.
