Luanda
Waku Kungo to have ecotourism area

Luanda – A area designed for ecological tourism (ecotourism) is being set up in the Banza Futa locality, 45 kilometres off Waku Kungo District, situated in the southern Kwanza Sul Province, through a project of Araújo Lda company, which aims at promoting tourism in the country.

The project, still in its embryonic stage, will be implemented at an area of 400 hectares and involves the construction of lodges, sports fields, conference and entertainment rooms and other infrastructures and services.

Speaking to ANGOP, the director general of the company which organises the event, José Araújo, said that in order to be implemented the housing project needs the approval of the Authorities, as well as a feasibility study which will be carried out on January 2010 by a South African firm.
