Lubango -  The operation of electric train will depend mainly on the  improvement of the power quality in the country, said the director of
the National Institute of Railway  of Angola (INCFA), Julio Bango Joaquim .

Julio Joaquim was speaking Saturday to Angop  in Lubango, southern Huila province.

The official said there is a plan for the implementation of the project , but all depend on the power quality currently provided in the country, still considered poor.

According to him, the Railway Managing Board has a large size project to develop and all depends only on the solution of energy, whose conclusion is set for the next two years.

For the circulation of electric train the sources also mentioned other factors like signalling traffic, placement of lights along the roads , as well as others involving the activity.

Meanwhile, the official assured that the government led by the president José Eduardo dos Santos is working on substantial improvement of power.

As evidence of the government efforts toward improvement of power quality, he mentioned the construction of dams and min-dams as well as restore of electric network in some provinces.
