Minister commends president commitment to rehabilitation of railway

Kamacupa - Angolan Transport minister, Augusto da Silva Tomás, praised Friday in the municipality of Kamacupa, central Bie province, the tireless commitment of the President of the Republic, José Eduardo dos Santos, to the rehabilitation of Benguela Railway (CFB) in that locality.
 

The minister who was speaking at political mass rally after the inauguration of the Station of Kamacupa, highlighted the commitment of the Head of State to socio-economic development that the country is experiencing.
 

 "The head of Executive has made a great effort in the construction of bridges, roads, schools, hospitals, energy, and distribution of drinking water to communities," said Augusto Tomás.
 

The President's effort focussed on boosting agriculture aimed at eradicating poverty and hunger, creation of more jobs, improving living conditions of the people and the country's socio-economic development of the residents were also commended.
 

Attended the event, the provincial governor of Bie, Álvaro Manuel de Boavida Neto, chairperson of the board of directors of CFB, Carlos Gomes, provincial government officials and other entities.
