Luena –The Benguela Railway Company (CFB) will facilitate as from last Friday the circulation of people and goods in the provinces of Moxico, Huambo, Bié and Benguela with the inauguration of Kuito/Luena line.

This was said to Angop on Friday by the Transports Minister, Augusto da Silva Tomás, after the arrival of CFB train in Luena city, inaugurated by the President of the Republic, José Eduardo dos Santos.

 
In addition, the official said that the train will facilitate transportation of goods among the referred provinces and consolidate friendship ties of their people.

The minister said that the train will facilitate the provinces with logistics platform that will be set up along the railway line, such as port, urban, regional and border platforms, as well as boost the economic development with installation of manufacturing, mineral and agricultural industries.

The official also said that CFB will permit a railway integration platform with SADC countries, through the connection of railway companies of DR Congo, Zambia and Namibia.

 
He said that CFB will generate many Jobs for Angolan youths and permit greater economic growth and income for national families.
