Luanda - The Angolan Airlines (TAAG) signed Tuesday in Luanda, four agreements with the U.S. Boeing for the purchase of three aircraft, estimated at about USD 600 million.
The agreements stipulate the delivery of first Boeing 777-300ER in late 2014 or March 2015, the second in September of that year and the last in 2016.
The deals were signed by the Angolan minister of Transport, Augusto da Silva Tomás, and sales director of Boeing, João Miguel.
Augusto da Silva Tomás said that the signing of the contract is a positive response to the challenges of rebuilding TAAG.
The minister increased that the future of the company (TAAG) will be satisfied for all and reaches the medium-term balance and improves the condition of its employees.
The sales director of Boeing, João Miguel, said that in March and September 2015 the company will deliver the first two airplanes and the last in 2016.
