Accidents claim eight lives in seven days

Sumbe – At least eight people died and 34 others injured following 26 road accidents reported in the last seven days in the province of Kwanza Sul The data are expressed in an assessment note of issued by the Kwanza Sul provincial command of the national police sent to ANGOP, which highlights an increase of 10 accidents over the previous period.


 
The corporation points out as the main causes speeding, drunkenness, fatigue, violation of
traffic rules, lack of seat belts and helmets.


 
The accident occurred in the municipalities of Sumbe, Cela, Libolo, Ebo, Seles, Amboim,
Porto Amboim, Kassongue, causing damage estimated at 6. 948 million Kwanza.
