The deputy director of the National Roads and Traffic Department, Chief Deputy Commissioner Conceicão Gomes, told ANGOP this Tuesday.
The police officer said that the accidents included running over, collisions between vehicles and motorcycles, skidding and overturning.
Speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol, disregard traffic rules and lack of care by the pedestrians and motorists, were the main causes of the accidents.
The main targeted are the roads linking the country's capital with the provinces of Kwanza Sul / Benguela, Luanda / Kwanza Norte / Malanje and Luanda / Bengo / Uige.
