Car accidents kill four in Luanda during transition to new year

Luanda – Four dead and five wounded is the result of ten car accidents registered by the Traffic Police in various roads of Luanda Province, during the transition to the new year.

 


Speaking Sunday to ANGOP, the spokesman of the Luanda Provincial Police Command, hief inspector Nestor Bizi Goubel, said that the accidents took place in the districts of Ingombota, Kilamba Kiaxi, Rangel, Cacuaco and Viana.

 

According to the police officer, the main causes behind the accidents were excessive speed and consumption of alcoholic drinks, as well as non observance of traffic rules, lack of caution of pedestrians and drivers.
