TAAG inaugurates new air link Luanda/Porto

Luanda – The Angolan Air Transport Company (TAAG) inaugurated in the early hours of Saturday the air link between Luanda and Porto, Portugal, with the aircraft 777-200 ER, called “11 de Novembro”.


The aircraft left the Angolan capital at around 12.10 am, carrying several members of the government, company employees, journalists and guests connected to the carrier.


Most of the passengers were Portuguese working in Angola and businessmen.

 
According to ANGOP, at the airport most said they were satisfied with the opening of this air link and it was also mentioned the profit TAAG can get with customers who need to travel directly to Porto City, who before only had the choice to fly to Lisbon. This flight should take about eight hours.
