Bié transport company needs 20 new buses


Luanda – The public transport company of Bié Province "Sofofe Lda" needs at least 20 new buses for 2012, aimed at reinforcing the current fleet of 21 units, announced the company’s director, Fernando Sousa Júnior.

 

In an interview to ANGOP, the director stated that the company’s department wrote to the Ministry of Transport asking for institutional support in exemption of taxes in order to purchase 20 buses and increase transport for the population.


According to Fernando Júnior, the company intends to increase the number of vehicles that travel inter urban, municipal and inter provincial routes.


The company was opened three years ago and has 25 workers.
