Luanda – The director of Operations and Development of Macon, a private transport operator, Egildo Ferraz Beu told Friday ANGOP that the company is conducting studies to predict the recovery of taxi services, paralyzed a year ago.
According to the manager, the company has also plan to return to provide such services, adding that it stopped operating due to the deterioration of the fleet composed of 30 vehicles, caused by the poor condition of the roads.
Besides the poor condition of roads, said Egildo Beu, it also contributed to the deterioration of cars, the bad behaviour of drivers and the lack of spare parts in the national market.
Macon is the first private company of collectives transport in Luanda, with a fleet of 310 buses and 1,400 workers. Currently the operator provides, as well as urban, inter-provincial transport of passengers in some parts of the country.
