Huambo – The Managing Commission of the State-run airline (TAAG) worked in the central provinces of Bie and Huambo, on a visit of follow-up and approximation of managers and workers of the company, aimed at improving the services to customers.
Speaking to local press, at the end of the visit to the two cities, the managing commission member, Rui Carreira, said it is a TAAG perspective for 2010 to focus on its customer service which, according to him, is the “company’s weakest tie”.
"We are aware that we must do better, because we are still offering a service of quality demanded by our customer and this year we will focus with indepth in this area, so that the passengers feel more and more pleasure in flying and always choose TAAG", he said.
Among other constraints found, Rui Carreira highlighted shortage of personnel of operational equipment, of protection and means of support.
As to shortage of personnel, he mentioned the province of Huambo as the most severely affected.
Rui Carreira said TAAG is in a process of transformation which, according to him, must be continuous, taking into account that the aeronautic activity is dynamic and his is a company that wants to be on top of modernity of Angolan companies.
According to him, TAAG is now better than it was a few years ago, adding that an effort is underway to improve it further.
