"Ndamba Maria" village gets new water supply system

Benguela, – Residents of Ndamba Maria village, Catumbela commune, in the central Benguela province, already have new system for the supply of drinking water, whose regular operation was witnessed this Thursday by the administrator of Lobito district, Amaro Segunda Ricardo.

 

Speaking to ANGOP, the administrator of the village, Bernardo Sapalo, said that with the supply of drinking water, through fountains, water-related disease that recently affected the population will cease to exist in the region.

 

To him, with the opening of fountains in the village, one the main problem that affected the population has been solved and better days for residents can now be planned.

 

The village has a population estimated at 10,000 inhabitants who are mainly dedicated to fishing.
