Minister defends fight against witch children Phenomenon

Mbanza Kongo – The families of northern Zaire province were advised on Wednesday in Mbanza Kongo city by the Angolan minister of Family and Woman promotion, Genoveva Lino, to refrain and fight against the witchcraft children phenomenon.  

 

Behaving in this way, added the minister, ‘’we will dignify and protect children and also allow that they have a healthy and balanced growth''.  

 

Genoveva Lino referred yet that in order to avoid such behaviour, her institution needs to strengthen awareness work with the communities with the objective of making them abstaining from this spirit and false thoughts.

 

The minister of Family and Woman promotion returned Wednesday to Luanda, after a four day-work visit to Zaire, where along with officials and professionals assessed the activity of the sector in the northern province.
