Lubango city starts changing face for CAN/2010


Lubango– The ornament works aiming at beautifying Lubango city, for the CAN-2010 to be held in the country on January 10-31, were opened this Friday, in this city, in a ceremony led by the provincial governor, Isaac Maria dos Anjos.

 


The activity started by painting the wall of the Catholic Mission Church of Lubango and will last next December, being at this moment benefited painting works the buildings “green”, in Lucrécia quarter, “Patinhas” and JMPLA building in Commercial.


 

After finishing this stage, the programme plans painting the front side and the walls of other buildings of Lubango, as well as the holding of cleaning works in the streets and yards of the city, in order to put more beautiful and hospitable, for the most important sport event in Africa.
