Over 6,000 demobilized soldiers get subsides


Lubango – At least 6,399 ex-soldiers of the then Government and UNITA forces, FAPLA and FALA,  respectively, in Huila province, have already received their demobilization subsides, under the Government strategy to assist them, in a process started last August, Angop has learnt.


This was announced by the spokesman of the South military region, in Huila province, Major Adriano Lopes, who considers the work done so far by the technical co-ordination group of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) general staff.


He said that demobilize soldiers that have not already presented their documents can do it, presenting only a copy of the identity card and the demobilized card, autobiography, as well as the identification of the minor children.
