Church leader calls on Huambo residents for communion with God

 

Huambo - The archbishop of central Huambo province, Dom Jose de Queiroz Alves, Friday appealed to the local residents  to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the province's capital in communion with God.


The prelate said that this will allow their spiritual, social and physical wellbeing, in addition to contribute to a more sustainable progress of the city.

 
The Catholic prelate made ??the appeal during a Mass held in the parish of Our Lady of Fatima on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Huambo city, capital of the province with the same name.
 

In his homily, José  de Queiroz noted that while celebrating 100 years of the city, the Christian and the residents in general are called to seek true communion with God.


According to him, by doing so God will pour His blessing on the Angolan government and the Huambo continue develop in all areas.
 
Attended the Mass the deputy governors of Huambo province for political and social sector, Guilherme Tuluca, and for the economic sector, Francisco Fato, the delegate of the Ministry of Interior, Elias Dumbo Livulo, President Judge of the Provincial Court, Pedro Nazare, among other personalities.
