CEFOJOR runs cultural journalism course

Luanda – The Journalist Training Centre (CEFOJOR) will be running a two-day cultural journalism course from September 26 this year in Luanda, as part of the Social Communication Ministry’s programme designed to upgrade professionals.

In a note that reached Angop on Friday, CEFOJOR says the course will be run in cooperation with the Gothe Institute, and is designed for cultural journalists serving public and privately-run media organs.

The programme that will be run by the director of the Cultura newspaper, José Luís Mendonça, aims mainly at boosting the cultural newsrooms and promote a debate and reflection on the cultural dimension of Angola’s development.

The programme includes, among other topics, the role of media in the context of the literary and musical criticism, intellectual property and other artistic manifestations.
