Methodist church's radio symbol of democracy in country

 

Luanda – The existence of the Kairós radio, a station with the United Methodist Church, inaugurated on Tuesday, represents the vitality of the country's young democracy and the work of the Angolan Government towards plurality and diversity of the social communication.

 


This was said by the Media minister, Carolina Cerqueira, for whom the growing of new private social communication organs that run for equality of circumstance freedom and opening represent other pillar in the policy of the Angolan Executive.

 


The Minister said so at the act that marked the inauguration ceremony of the mentioned radio, adding that this opening is given to the institutions that knows how to practice with responsibility, rigor and serenity its social and spiritual role.

 


The radio is a commercial and religious one and operates in 98.4 frequency.
