Tocoist church cathedral inauguration set for Friday

Luanda – The cathedral of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the World Church (also known as Tocoist church), situated in Golf 2 ward, Luanda’s district of Kilamba Kiaxi, will be inaugurated on Friday, in a ceremony that is to be attended by government officials, ecclesiastic authorities and other personalitiess.

 

The cathedral of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the World has the capacity to host 31,000 people seated and is considered an architectonic work of great dimension.

 

The inauguration ceremony will also be attended by faithful of this religious denomination from all over the country and from the national councils of Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe, Namibia, South Africa, France, among others.

 

The faithful of Tocoist Church will remain in the cathedral for 14 days where, besides the ecclesiastic ac, it will be organised public activities, including baptisms, introduction of new faithful, among others.
