Youths encouraged to participate in general election

Cazenga - The chairman of the National Youth Council (CNJ), Cláudio Aguiar, told youths Wednesday in Luanda to massively and in a civic way participate in the general election of August 31 this year.

Cláudio Aguiar was speaking to the press at the end of a lecture entitled "The role of the youth on the electoral Code of Conduct", promoted by the CNJ, together with the National Electoral Commission (CNE) in Cazenga neighbourhood , Luanda.

"These initiatives are taking the message to young people from different parts of the country and political parties to show a positive behaviour on the August 31 polls", he said before adding that "elections should be a synonymous with joy, respect for difference and not with conflict".

Cláudio Aguiar pointed out that "young people are the segments of this country, so they must participate in a responsible manner with consciousness, harmony and diversity".
