Luanda hosts National Conference on Traditional Medicine


Luanda - The first National Conference on Traditional Medicine will take place on Monday, April 6, in the Bela Conference Centre in Luanda (Futungo II), under the motto "The rescue and recovery of Safe Traditional Medicine Serving Health’’.

 

 
According to a statement from the office of vice-minister of Social Communication, Manuel Miguel de Carvalho "Wadijimbi", posted today, Friday, to ANGOP, the event aims to complement the actions arising from the regional seminars on the theme "Traditional Medicine and Complementary Practices "held in Luanda, Uige, Huambo, Malanje, Huila and Moxico provinces.

 

 
The conference aims to condense the conclusions from the regional workshops that addressed the National Policy on Traditional Medicine and its Implementation Strategy, the Executive, as well as the various quarters of civil society and other organizations of Angola, as well as sharing experiences with others countries.
