Namibe – About six million kwanzas made available by Angola Saving and Credit Bank (BPC) were handed over in this city to nine cooperatives and youth associations connected to entrepreneurship, as part of “Angola Jovem” programme.
The provincial governor of Namibe, Cândida Celeste, who was present at the ceremony, praised the importance of “Angola Jovem” programme, stressing that creating opportunities for youths to create business for self sufficiency is one of the government’s obligations.
Governor Cândida Celeste urged young people to engage in their efforts in order to honour the commitment of returning the values to the respective bank.
One hundred and sixty youths from different associations will benefit from this programme.
