Luanda - Journalists from various Media outlets Friday in Luanda exchanged experience on Mboque Journalism Award, during the first edition of Cafe de Ideias aimed at sharing ideas.
The chair of Jury team, Maria Ramos, who was addressing the opening ceremony, said that the talks aims at conveying knowledge and experience to young journalists and students.
"The constant training of journalists is a crucial issue for the performance itself of their duties and for the country’s development", she said.
The participants at the event learned the history of two respected journalists who were and awarded in 2011 in the categories of Reporting and Grand Prize for Journalism, respectively Amilcar Xavier, (National Radio Station (RNA), and Luis Fernandes, State-run News Paper (Jornal de Angola).
The jury team of Maboque Journalism Prize comprises Maria Ramos, chairperson, Luísa Damião (vice chairperson) Albino Carlos, Justino Pinto de Andrade, Africano Neto, in addition to Nelson Ventura, promotor’s representative, and Ana Lúcia Ferreira, permanent secretary.
