Kuito - The governor of central Bie province, Álvaro Manuel de Boavida Neto, Monday in Kuito reiterated that his Government will continue with its programmes to reduce poverty and famine in the community.
The governor was speaking during the opening of the Entrepreneur Counter (BUE), in the municipality of Kuito.
On the occasion, Manuel de Boavida Neto stressed the need for the populations to continue investing in the Angolan Government's action, whose purpose is to eradicate famine and poverty.
He said BUE has come to support with stricter responsibility the creativity of the citizens engaged in their own businesses, through bank credit.
According to him, it is the Government’s responsibility to address the problems facing the people, in response to directions handed down by the first and late Angolan president, António Agostinho Neto.
Álvaro Manuel de Boavida Neto said BUE is a response from the head of State to the call of the youth to have their social and financial condition improved.
