CNE
Media privileged partner in civic education campaign

Luanda - The Public and Private Media are privileged partners of the National Electoral Commission (CNE) in broadcasting of civic education and electoral campaign, recently launched with the aim of sensitising the citizens for the active participation in the selection of future representatives of the country fate.

The belief was expressed by the chairperson of the CNE, Silva Neto, when speaking on Tuesday in Luanda, at the opening of an informal meeting with national and foreign journalists, that took place in Talatona Convention Centre.

According to him, the journalists should report rigorously and professionally, abstain to publish or transmitting messages of incitement of hatred and violence, as it establishes the Electoral Code of Conduct.

Silva Neto also said to be through the media, the voters are getting in touch with the principles and general objectives of that campaign, to inform and make awareness of citizens countrywide.
