Minister hands over vehicles to tackle road accidents

Ndalatando – Angolan Interior Minister, Sebastião Martins, Wednesday handed over two vehicles to support the work performed by the unit of prevention and aid in road accidents placed in the "Binda" Hill, northern province of Kwanza Norte.

 

According to the government minister, the two cars will ensure greater speed and efficiency in the work done by staff especially regarding the rescue actions, mobilization of personnel and means for rapid evacuation of the injured to hospital.

 

The infrastructure is also equipped with radar systems for speed control of vehicles, accident  alarms, breathalyzers, and emergency room facilities.

 

The construction of undertaking which was inaugurated Wednesday by Interior minister, cost  USD 1.3 million
