UNICEF committed to supporting Angolan children from southern region

Lubango – UNICEF, in the southern region of Angola, reaffirmed on Saturday its commitment to supporting the government to implement the 11 commitments that safeguard the children’s rights and duties.

This was said to Angop on Saturday by UNICEF official for southern region of Angola, Paulo Mendes, during the provincial act to celebrate the African Children’s Day, marked on June 16.

According to him, UNICEF will continue to work hard so as to guarantee the harmonious and full development of children in all domains.

He also highlighted the supports to the children relating to education, health, their growth, social, emotional and intellectual well-being so that they may continue with the reconstruction and development process of the country.
