Luanda
Muxima pilgrimage to happen earlier

Luanda – The Catholic church has brought forward this year’s pilgrimage to Muxima Sanctuary, Luanda’s district of Quissama.

The event, which was initially scheduled for September, will now take place on August 4-5.

According to the spokesman of Viana Diocese, priest Queirós Vieira, who gave the information to ANGOP, the event has been brought forward due to the holding of the general elections in the country, scheduled for August 31.

According to the prelate, in this edition the pilgrimage will happen under the topic “Reconciliation of Families”, having added that the topic has been chosen in view of the problems facing Angolan families.
