Deolinda Rodrigues avenue gets footbridges

 

Luanda - The first footbridge out of the 10 expected for Deolinda Rodrigues avenue will start being installed on Saturday, ANGOP has learnt.


The initiative is part of a programme aimed at adopting security measures for the benefit of pedestrians and improving traffic.


A commission created for this purpose considers that conditions are ready for the installation of the mentioned footbridges.

 
At least 226 people died while crossing the mentioned road that links Luanda City to Viana Municipality.
