Curoca's disadvantaged children get foodstuff

 

Oncocua – The MPs of the provincial constituency of Cunene handed over on Sunday various food stuff to disadvantaged children in Curoca district, aiming to reinforce the minors’ food diet.


The foodstuff comprises rice, corn flour, mineral water, salt, vegetable oil, potatoes and onions.


During the hand over act, the coordinator of the activity, Elias Satyamba said that this initiative is part of the children month’s activity that the local constituency will develop in Cunene province’s districts.


During the visit, the MPs also handed over foodstuff to children admitted in the local hospital and clothes to parturient women, as well as souvenirs comprised by toys, soft drinks, candies and fruits.


Activities of this kind were also held in the districts of Ombadja, Cahama, Namacunde, Kwanhama and Cuvelai, which covered about 800 advantaged children.
