Citizens condemned for illegal possession of weapons

Lubango – Five national citizens were on Thursday sentenced to three to five months-prison, for illegally owning fire-arms in Lubango city, southern Huila province.


This was announced to Angop by the spokesman of the local police, Intendent Eduardo Pintal.


Moreover, the police officer said that the citizens will also pay some fines.


The sentences are part of the coercive seizure process of weapons that is being carried out by the Angolan Government.
