Embassy regrets murder of Angolan student in Brazil

Brasília – The Embassy of Angola in Brazil are concerned and regretted the murder of the Angolan student Zumira de Sousa and the injuries of Celina Bento Mendonça, Gaspar Armando Mateus and Renovaldo Manuel Cabenda on Tuesday in Sao Paulo state.

 


The embassy, through the General Consulate of Angola in Sao Paulo, is following up closely the situation and informs that a lawyer was appointed to work with the Brazilian police that is investing the case.

 


The Embassy informs that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil was formally notified for its intervention as quick as possible to resolve this case and find the criminals involved in this brutal murder.

 


The Angolan embassy general Consulate in S. Paulo provided their all moral and material support to move the remains of the late student to Luanda and other victims that under medical assistance in the hospitals in that city.
