Antonio Agostinho Neto Foundation chairperson to visit Namibia

Windhoek - The chairperson of Dr. António Agostinho Neto Foundation (FAN), Maria Eugenia Neto, is expected Wednesday in Windhoek, Namibia, for a five-day official visit at the invitation by the local pesident, Hifikepunye Lucas Pohamba. 


This is expressed in a note released by the Angolan Embassy to Namibia to ANGOP.

 

According to the source , the four-day visit  is intended to strengthen the institutions and collect testimonies from the former fighters of the South West Africa People’s Organisation (SWAPO) who knew and the first president of Angola, António Agostinho
Neto.


 
The note also adds that during the visit, Maria Eugénia Neto and her delegation will be received by the Namibian head of State, Lucas Pohamba, and by  SWAPO president, Sam Nujoma.
