Governor declares fight against sexual harassment

Luanda – The governor of Luanda capital province, Bento Francisco Joaquim Sebastião Bento, Monday, here, vowed a serious combat against the phenomenon of sexual harassment in some schools.    


 
“This immorality and lack of ethic of teachers and schools’ officials encourage them, abusing of their functions, put eyes on the students, having them as easy prey for sexual harassment”, said the governor.     


 
He added saying that this reality reached worried level all over the country, threatening to change moral stability of the education institutions and consequently of the society.    


 
This was said under the opening ceremony of the academic year, in a meeting he held with over thousand people, namely, schools officials, members of the provincial education sector, teachers, representative of students’ associations, guardians, among others.
