Ecunha, Chindjendje to gain new residences

Huambo - The steering plans for the new cities of Ecunha and Chindjendje were presented on Tuesday in Huambo City, during a technical meeting with the provincial board of urbanisation ANGOP has learnt.

 

According to the plan, the housing projects will be done in the land reserves of the two municipalities, in an action of the local government’s urbanisation plan, which aims at lessening the lack of residences.

 

In Ecunha it will be built 721 residences with multi-use pavilions, leisure and school areas, as well as a water abstraction station, whereas Chindjendje will gain 420 residences.

 

The meeting was chaired by the provincial deputy governor for economic matters, Henriques Deolindo Barbosa, and witnessed by the deputy governor for technical issues and infrastructures, José Paulo Kai.
