Huambo
Businessman donates goods to general hospital


Huambo – A businessman from Huambo province, Ernesto Yamba-Yamba, offered this Saturday, various goods to patients interned at Huambo General Hospital.

 

The donation is part of World Patient Day, celebrated this Saturday, and includes a ton of rice, 30 boxes of milk powder, 800 packages of fruit, half a ton of sugar, 50 boxes of soft drinks, plus an undisclosed monetary value given to hospitalized patients.


 
Speaking to the press, the supervisor on duty in the largest hospital in the province, Samuel Chipepe, welcomed the gesture of solidarity of the entrepreneur Ernesto Yamba-Yamba, adding that the goods received will help alleviate the food shortage faced by patients from the provinces of Benguela, Bie, Kuando Kubango, Kwanza Sul and Huambo.
